Notes
Un bel album Hommage ou l'on retrouve les musiciens qui ont souvent joué ou enregistré avec Toto. Belle mastérisation : dommage que l'effet "live" est été trop gommé...
On retrouve des classiques de Jeff Porcaro, dont l'excellent Georgy Porgy et le shuffle de Lowdown qui est toujours aussi entraînant.
On note la présence de Joe Porcaro aux Percussions sur Africa !
Bref : d'excellents musiciens qui honorent la disparition de Jeff avec talent : une réussite !
Un son très jazzy, une pêche d'enfer, des chœurs impeccables, et ça joue !!
Greg bis sonnette a un jeu fin pour le souffle à la Jeff (d'ailleurs j'avais bien aimé sa participation à la tournée de Toto en 1995).
Par contre le vibrato forcé de Glenn Hugues sur Rosanna, ça le fait pas...

Best : Georgy Porgy (Absolument magnifique !!), Lowdown, E Minor Shuffle, Corbitt Van Brauer (avec un Final de batterie & de percussions du Feu de Dieu...), Let's Stay Together, Jeff's Strut...

Superbe morceau dans le plus bel esprit de ce que peut faire Toto. Trés mélodique. Dans la version instrumentale, un sax remplace la voix.
A posseder absolument. Joseph est excellent.
Le final du morceau est fabuleux avec une montée lyrique des instruments et de la voix de joseph qui vous emporte et vous donne la chair de poule...
